Job Description
Looking for content writer / technical writer to consume whitepapers, webinar abstracts and webinar recordings and convert them into “handover packages”.
Handover packages are character limited Marketing Documents that summarize the document into a marketing sheet.
This work would be assigned and collaborated on within a project management tool called Wrike (collaboration tool).
Examples of work product include:
Landing page, using a template and SEO research
Email, using a template
Multiple Social posts covering the asset using a template
Each package takes appx 4-6 hours to complete depending on the complexity of the document and contractors writing skills.
Most of the work is done MS Word and Excel
Work is writing for marketing
Taking a myriad of executive overviews and boiling them down to a marketing pitch
Interactive role but independent while getting the core work done. Contractors will gather clarification from SME’s
Requirements
Education – degree in English, marketing, technical writing, journalism or similar
Experience – 3-5 years+ writing marketing content, ideally B2B
Skills/attributes – Strong writing skills; Microsoft Office suite experience required
Wrike experience a plus;
passion for storytelling and crafting content to support customers building a relationship with the company throughout the buyer journey
Experience with collaborative meeting software like Teams/Meet/Zoom
Work – Deliver quick-turnaround content derived from specified source material – writing landing pages, emails, social media posts and blogs, for example, to promote the source asset (webinar, ebook, white paper, etc.)
Additionally - Writing samples showcasing email, blog, social posts and landing page content, ideally that span different industries in addition to a writing assignment.
Anyone that has experience writing in a technology, engineering or software field is highly preferred.
Graphic design experience sufficient to become familiar with brand standards and support a graphic design queue delivering quick turnaround creation of visual collateral working in Adobe Creative Suite. The types of assets may include image creation (retouch, resize, edit), web banner ads (static and animated), infographics, event collateral (banner stands, backwalls, hanging displays, etc.), social media posts (static and animated), whitepapers, ebooks and ads.
